I can only think of two forms of Derangement Syndrome.

TDS and IDS.

Cenk Uyger has a severe case of IDS. Check out Jimmy Dore also.

There are many forms. If there is something or someone that you hate, someone that gets under your skin, so to speak, that incites a state of anger, resentment, fear, etc., it probably qualifies as derangement syndrome.

Jimmy Dore

Many here would say he has TDS and IDS.

He is just a left-wing libertarian who has GDS. Government Derangement Syndrome. He rails against everyone.

A lot of people, especially the younger ones, may not remember it, but the original was Bush Derangement Syndrome. Hard to imagine now considering how cozy W is with the left and the establishment, but after the kumbaya of 9/11 wore off, the left absofrickinglutely hated W.

They would completely lose their shite every time he went to his Crawford ranch.

I think it was Krauthammer that coined the phrase.

The key is it being irrational. Lots of people hated Biden, but there was a lot of reasons to: " brain dead, open borders, DEI hires, etc. Some people go after Trump about literally everything. They criticized him ending wars.

I don’t think the reasons matter.

While I don’t consider myself a stoic, I do think certain aspects of Stoicism help me stay grounded in these turmoiled political times.

Everyone loved and respected Donald before he ran for president. He was loved and respected by everyone from Wall Street to street corners in the hood. There’s a video of him on the view where it was all hugs and kisses and lots of “that’s a great idea, Donald”.

Obviously, word came from the top telling all the low life media outlets that they had to show only hate for a great man that everyone loved.

My theory is that his biggest critics do, in fact, love him the most. They are just too weak to go against the main stream narrative, so they all follow the script. And like the liars they are, they go overboard trying to make everyone else believe them.

If TDS sufferers weren’t so weak minded they would actually be his biggest supporters. If they voted with their instincts and their own thoughts, Trump would get 90% of the vote, every time.
