Politics, a game of power and wealth,
A stage where actors play for fame
Where promises are made, but nothing felt
And the people are but pawns in the game
The powerful pull the strings, unseen
Their interests reign supreme, above all
While the masses struggle and lean
To make ends meet, at their feet they fall
Election after election, a show
A circus of lies and deceit
Voters cast their ballots, and watch them go
To a future uncertain and incomplete
But still we hope, still we strive
For a change that may never arrive
Politics, a sham we cannot ignore,
A facade to keep us all in line
Where the powerful forever more
Will always win, and the poor will decline.
In this game, we are but a sideshow
Our voices silenced, our fate foretold
But perhaps one day, we'll overthrow
This sham and reclaim our role.

Well, I'm a huge fan of unnecessarily long guitar solos, so....
Also the band is cool as shite now.
James Lomenzo and Kiko Loureiro are killer.
