We watched too, and the attack & aftermath was so...quiet. If not for her death, it looked like a brush on the shoulder, with a stranger, while walking down the sidewalk.
I may be WAY off base, but her reaction, prior to a violent and painful death, speaks volumes of her past. The new life she wanted to create, the violence she wanted to leave behind.

The idiot mayor won reelection tonight too. Democrats are truly idiots. It was the DEM primary but she will win easily over the republican in the general.

As a country and society this is where we are truly failing. All of the talking points, major issues, disagreements that cause "peaceful protests"..... it all boils down to the fact that we no longer have any sense of community and we lack respect and compassion for life.
You see similar things when someone gets jumped or assaulted and half the people standing around only use their phone to video the incident. We would rather support and protect charged murders than the person next to us that is the absolute definition of a helpless victim.

Pure evil exists within the hearts/minds of those who are deceived and hold power to let these sociopaths prowl the streets and murder, and for the sake of supposed political promotion of their Marxist ideology. Sick people do evil but are not necessarily evil. It’s ’well’ people in power who knowingly allow evil, for perceived gain, that are truly evil.
It’s coming.

Watched full video. No sensible person could defend the killer, death should be the punishment.
What also bothers me is so many people did nothing. If you are scared and not wanting to be attacked yourself I suppose I understand but to not rush to give comfort as she dies I just can’t understand the callousness of it. Agree, Trap. Those people are apathetic to the point of being‘Wildebeest’ is the herd as their fellow beings fall prey. The System is definitely to blame.
I’m 75 and I would have bull rushed that sob as soon as he dropped guard. With intent to fully neutralize him. Talk about civic responsibility, f’n IPhone has essentially neutralized half of humanity if not more.
