I think Trump will release them all, unredacted, in his third act as he’s going out of office. The Left will say he doctored them and it will quietly go away.

This!!!! This is the point that no liberal or progressive on this board has been able to answer.
Deep down, they already know why the Biden DOJ did nothing with the files. They KNOW that there is nothing in these files that implicates Trump.
Yet, they can’t admit to the board that Trump is innocent because they have been conditioned to hate him. They think he HAS to be guilty of something.
Trump played them. He made them beg for the release of the files. He knew what is in them, who is in them. This way, it doesn’t look like political vengeance. He wasn’t “going after his political opponents.”
Remember, optics are important.

I grew up in Hot Springs and went to school with bill’s brother. I know about these folks and was proud he made president but I saw his flaws as well and never came close to worshipping him or any other president in my lifetime dating back to Eisenhower.
