Hogan and the WWF's explosion in the 1980's killed professional wrestling for most folks involved in the business. Prior to the national expansion of WWF and then later Jim Crockett (which became WCW), wrestlers could find work in territories all over the country. With the territories gone, you literally had two companies to work for if you wanted to earn a living. This doesn't even get into his creative control issues or his backstage politicking in both WCW and later TNA.
This was Vince’s doing more than Hogans.

I don't disagree, but when you're Vince's stooge, you're gonna take some heat for what Vince does using your popularity.

Anybody with a brain would of been a damned fool not to be a Vince stooge back then.

Having said that, both him and his ex are both POS.

quote:This school of thought can't be dismissed either. Hogan did have his politics for sure and maybe that was just the tradeoff. I can't fault him for any of it anymore as he is promoting Jesus and is a stand up guy nowadays he's traded in a lot of his old ways and I wish him the best.
He got to a point where he had too much influence and always got his way which hurt others trying to climb the ladder. It’s a business thought and he was successful at it. Sometimes that means others couldn’t succeed too. Boo hoo.
