He’s like Hawley and Kennedy. Great for sound bites and playing gotcha with witnesses in committee hearings, but it’s just red meat for their bases and nothing ever comes of it. Don’t get me wrong, I love to see it, but it’s for the voters back home, not for any meaningful change. I’d prefer Trump pick his team from as much outside the DC swamp as possible, somebody who doesn’t give a shite about criticism from any side and not trying to stay on the government pension plan.

I like the guy... He was big during covid because he was pissed that most of our drugs were coming from China. or sumsuch.
