They use Mexico’s and Canada’s NAFTA agreement with the US to get into the US market through a loophole, cutting the US out of billions of dollars and jobs while Mexico and Canada are getting big companies to set up shop in their country. That’s about to end.

When you're the largest consumer market by leaps and bounds you have some muscle to flex

And they are in Canada and employ Canadians and their taxes go to Canada.
Tell me how that helps Americans?

The leftist are demanding A true American Patriot President to show his moves & motives before game time. That's cute.
It's also a great example of why the last president got bent over on every single trade deal he was ever in charge of.

WTF are you talking about?
With the NAFTA agreement and the US corporate tax rate it is much more profitable to build a plant in Mexico or Canada and ship it into the US from there than it is to put a plant in the US.

Exactly, they really dont have any choice but to deal with us...on our terms.
By the way, the tariffs on EU are directed at China. The EU announced they are going to take the US and China to the WTO. We have been begging for the China issue to be addressed for decades to no avail. Now that we stung the EU they suddenly have interest.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. We will see if the EU acts, in the meantime let them stew in a few tariffs.

Whatch and learn, or go read Art of The Deal. Don't expect Our President to just lay all his cards our on the table before you.
