He’s being indicted by Special Counsel David Weiss. This indictment is for show only. A clever attempt to placate Republicans.

Hunter will not see the inside of a prison cell, ever.

It is also over the gun charge, the one issue from which sleepy Joe is insulated.

Just saw on TV that the statute of limitations on some of the charges is up in October. They're telegraphing their plays and we still can't stop them.

They are trading Hunter for Trump. It gives the Trump indictment more credibility by making justice system seem less impartial.

All of the above is true and John Q Public will fall for the show...
Let me know when they indict him on his massive tax crimes that implicate his treasonous Father and family.

didn't even charge him with tax fraud and drug possession. this is what happens when you're the son of the most braindead leader in the world.

No it doesn't. One will be pardoned. The other may go to jail.

If they charge him with FARA violations and taking money from foreign governments, they are going to have to ask some awkward questions, like what is the money for, how much, why did you use shell companies, what accounts did the money go to, etc...

All of that could lead to not only Joe, but other high ranking government officials.

The only reason they are trying to throw the book at Hunter is because they want to create the appearance of not being biased, after Judge Noreika (RIP) exposed the secret plea bargain, public outrage necessitated that Weiss come back with some substantive charges.

The intent was never to protect Hunter for Hunter's sake. It was to protect Hunter for Joe's sake and the rest of the corrupt assholes in DC who are in charge of a $5T budget. Now that plan A didn't work. This is plan B - throw Hunter in jail to protect Joe. You can bet that Hunter will approve going to jail for a short time in exchange for immunity from all other crimes uncovered by Weiss's investigation. I believe they will hype up how Hunter COULD go to jail for 10 YEARS, but when the actual sentencing happens, they will go light on him, and he will serve a few months if anything at all.

Still no explanation from the Biden camp as to why they needed 20+ shell corporations to conduct legal business...

or why tens of millions of dollars came from foreign governments/entities and were directed to a dozen Biden family members, some minor children.

This is the guy that tried to bury this all a few months ago??? And now he's serious about indictment??? Yeah right.

You can bet there will be a paperwork error in a few weeks and, ooopsie... the case is thrown out. Well, at least everybody tried their hardest.

This is like letting John Gotti pay the prosector's salary.
