It’s amazing how dumb this board is about election law and the difference between state and federal politicians.
How many times do you people need to be told that Senators and Congressmen cannot be recalled?
Recall of a federal official is illegal, unconstitutional and any statuary legislation on the federal or state level that provides for a recall of federal elected officials would be struck down in court.

Louisiana Law has an avenue, its never been challenged federally
The US Supreme Court is on record saying this in Burton v United States...
quote:
The seat into which he was originally inducted as a Senator from Kansas could only become vacant by his death, or by expiration of his term of office, or by some direct action on the part of the Senate in the exercise of its constitutional powers.33
It’s pretty clear how SCOTUS would respond to federal/state legislation that provides for a recall against a federal politician.
Struck down in a landslide.
This is a congressional research document that lays out the history of recalls. LINK
It's clear that there is nothing in the constitution that provides for and authorizes a recall of federal elected officials.

It’s my understanding that you can’t recall a sitting senator?

A U.S. Senator cannot be recalled by voters. In fact, there is no mechanism to remove a U.S. Senator by voters other than the ballot box. Only way for removal is by a vote of two thirds of the body, known as expulsion.
It appears my tagline below is very appropriate for this thread.

Cassidy believes that Trump is toxic in DC (he is), and that the Right will forget as Trump slides into powerlessness. Further, that JBE's election paints a real picture of the demographic dynamic in our State.
What none of them see, is that as the anti-oil policy slams our State, and the economy collapses per the Dem's 'Cloward-Piven' strategy...things are going to get real ugly.
Cassidy sees himself as being 'Moderate'; but in reality and effect, he's become an Leftist Activist. I would not want to go into the next few years with that brand. Dude don't realize what he has done. Probably should have stuck with healing the sick.
