And y’all still don’t get it. You always needed to sway Trump supporters
Several of the Rob Bots posted here that Rob didn’t need Trump supporters, that he would sway nevertrump karens and indys to cover it.

You’re not the person I was addressing. You still have a moral compass. You support Trump because you think he’s the best candidate. I’m fine with that.

Best watch out, he’s a Marine…

You're exactly the kind of loser I'm talking about. It's a big fricking mystery why you losers can't stop losing...
I'm the loser that told you in January how this would go for Desantis.
You've been wrong for 9 months.
What you know about politics wouldn't fill a thimble.

Most of your post is correct. This isn’t. DeSantis didn’t make a mistake in flinging shite. He made a mistake in not flinging shite correctly and with more vigor.
Could be the case, but why didn't he?
Underestimated what was needed for the fight from the start? Or as something like Tyson would say "everyone has a good plan until that first punch lands on their nose".
At this point what is Desantis doing to fix this issue and win? As it seems he's been quiet on the campaign trail. Not seeing how a drop out of national view is going to be beneficial to him when Trump is still in it daily. He has way to bunch to ground to gain to be silent and try to pop back up a month before primary season.
Only thing I can see benefiting him is if he is back room negotiating to get Christie, Haley and Pence to drop out and try to pickup their supporters. That would be the needed boast to drop a month prior to ride in to the ballot booths. As the field is to full for him to face on the ballot.

They get mad because a campaign attacks another like that’s never been done in the history of politics

I think he thought 2016 was a one-off that couldn’t be replicated. Maybe? I don’t know.
He definitely didn’t see how Trump would isolate a candidate and ridicule them. Which is enormously powerful in our society. You’ve seen it in this thread. You cannot sit back and wait for Trump if you’re going to campaign against him.

Is he still under the illusion that Trump will succumb to the legal actions? Clearly he was convinced of this by the GOPe power brokers.

We know what happened. We knew this would happen last year. Some folks gave Trump Loyalists too much credit.
