So dramatic.
Just colorful language to describe having my fate tied to others.
My biggest current fear is exactly as I described, and finding ourselves right here days after the election, with another GOP loss and a Dem wave and having you guys who brought us here bickering as to what went wrong and who's to blame...and of course why it's everyone else's fault.
This is crystal clear...and it's sickening being pretty much powerless to stop it.

don’t even know DeSantis ever said that. You think it was a defining moment in the campaign.
Everything was relative. It was talked about a TON. A lot of people started going negative on Ron for that statement and he literally has been unable to recover.
He’s not even campaigning to win anymore. He’s campaigning to sink Trump in the general.

Will you vote for Trump when he is the nominee?
I’ve already said I will, but it’s the last time. If/when he loses again he shouldn’t be able to show his face in Republican politics ever again. It’s pathetic that a General Election loser is allowed to be the nominee again.
If Trump loses another General Election, are you committed to telling him (with your vote, and perhaps verbally as well) to frick off in the 2028 primary should he decide to run again.

Maybe the arse could debate and not hide if you want us to back the "preemptive".
Even with all the bad hires he had and putting up with the constant investigations, pre-Covid Trump had the economy humming, job numbers were great, tax cuts for all with increasing receipts, and excellent foreign policy. He handled covid poorly. I’m hoping that there won’t be another global pandemic in his second term.
All that would happen at the debates is the moderator and DeSantis shitting on him for Covid.

Don’t forget you said he should kill himself too.

Then concentrate on election integrity and not tearing down the presumptive nominee. Or play the victim and blame meanie trump.

Do you know how weak that reads?

I don’t want him to, but my point is GOP voters should be pissed as frick if he fricks things up for us yet again, and should develop some mental toughness and take their frustrations out on him. They should do everything they can to make sure he never shows his face in politics again. We can’t afford to keep losing General Elections.

Holy fricking shite!
Why keep asking this? How many times do we keep having to say, "Yes
Because some of team Ron on this very board said they won't

Welp I have festivities to attend for a few hours

It’s a fact. If it reads weak so be it. I’m interested in things returning to how they were from 2017 until the pandemic hit. Unless another global pandemic is released the mistakes he made during the pandemic are irrelevant. Hopefully he learned about trusting anyone in government and he has an even better second term than the pre-covid portion of his first term.

I would be melting in here about muh DeSantis if I were you too. Arkansas football is dogwater.

I can both concentrate on election integrity AND still try and get the better candidate nominated.
Last I checked, ZERO ballots have been cast in any primary, correct? Presumptive is as meaningless in an election as it is in a sporting match.
You realize how many guys we've had here who've said something along the lines of, "Well, since Trump's gonna win I'm gonna vote for him." Do you understand how idiotic that is? We've had guys here say that even though they PREFER DeSantis they'll still do this. That's insanity.

If/when a bunch of DeSantis people DO sit out and not vote Trump, it will have been well earned. Trump and his surrogates have done everything possible to run those people away, and my guess is when he does end up losing and taking us all down again, tis will be the excuse most often used here. It's as obvious as a sunrise each morning.

Trump deserves to face a reckoning for many things.
-COVID response and embracing Fauci (giving him a medal)
-Cheering when a Republican lost the Colorado Senate race
-Losing to Biden
-Costing us control of the Senate twice, including his treasonous behavior leading up to the runoffs when he helped sabotage both sitting GOP Senators
-Saying Cuomo and Newsom handled COVID better than DeSantis
-Attacking pro-life Republicans
-Saying Stacey Abrams would be better than Brian Kemp
-Repeatedly praising Charlie Crist
-Cheering on Disney against DeSantis initially
-Saying mentally-ill trannies like Bruce Jenner, who he calls Caitlyn, can use any bathroom HE (“she” according to Trump) wants
-Adding $8 Trillion in debt and contributing to inflation via free COVID money and out of control spending
It’s fricking disgusting the shite he has pulled

And many on Team Trump have said the same, or are you going to deny that?
Like I said, let's have a stickied thread at the top of the board where we can all go on record, so we can stop having this question asked over and over, because either no one listens to the answer, or they do and simply repeat the question because they think it's cute.

There it is. Do y’all see why the question “will you vote for trump if he is nominated” is asked all the time?

Beautiful day for some beers and fire. Y’all take care.

There have been a few prior polls on this topic and in all of them more Trump supporters said they won’t vote if he isn’t the nominee than DeSantis supporters. If you look on Twitter, it’s overwhelmingly more Trump supporters saying this. Probably at least 80% only-Trump on Twitter.
