How many people understand what happened yesterday with Trump's 90 day pause on tariffs?

Many claim Trump caved. Many claim Trump was concerned about negative pubic opinion on a plunging stock market, many claim Trump was concerned about the bond market, etc.
All of this^^^^ could be true but something Trump's 90 day pause exposed was which countries are siding with the US/West and which countries are saddling up with the CCP. Did Trump intentionally do the 90 day pause to see which countries were gonna side with the US and which would side with the CCP? Was the pause part of Team Trump's trade re-negotiation tactics? Who knows. The bottom line that is what occurred yesterday.
Currently over 75 nations who have trade agreements with the US are lining up to meet with Team Trump's trade negotiators to draft trade agreements that are beneficial to both nations.....and hardliners in the CCP are not happy.
Right now the CCP has their team of economic experts and trade negotiators making the rounds through SE Asia to encourage Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc. to partner up with the CCP and to warn these same countries siding with the US will not be in their best interest.
Both sides are dug in, the efforts by Team Trump to execute a global realignment of trade is critically important for the sovereignty of the US and to preserve the USD as the global reserve currency......and the CCP knows this.

I think everyone understands. They just don’t want to acknowledge the good that is going on.

Do you think its anti American what Trump is doing? Maybe his execution is not the best, but can anyone question his intentions are America First?
I'm trying to figure out the issues here. Because its pretty damn sad how many people would rather not do anything to help America because their retirement account may take a 30 day hit.

It's been strange watching and listening to so called conservative pimp for the CCP model of global economics coupled with a quasi one world government also modeled after the CCP with a buncha global elites/oligarchs calling the shots.

I think it all boils do to Trump is trying to fix a broken system. China isn't bending the knee and they are our biggest enemy and they have decided to fight back. So we are building a battle plan to take on China and since they are the only true rivals of the USA we will deal with the scraps after we fix the biggest leak... China.

This is the issue. How do you know this is 30 days, 30 weeks, or operating on any timeline. If it’s a principled move, it could last a really long time. If it’s not based on principle, it will certainly be less than 30 days.

Furthermore China has a lot more to lose here than the USA. The cards are stacked in the US's favor.
No one in china is thinking "if we just hold out we will win".

If you knew it was would you be so against it?
The real answer to the question, is that I know its temporary because in the grand scheme of things individual stocks are worth some sort of technical evaluation in response to their metrics.
The market moves with news, but if the metrics are still there long term the market will bounce back. That goes both directions.
I don't think in 90 days that stocks are worth this much less. Its just short term response to global news.

For many, its not about their retirement accounts, it's their TDS. Regardless what Trump does, they will find fault. If they can't find fault, they'll simply make it up.
