How many of you fought for this country and became utterly disillusioned with our society?

Just curious

Well I did. And I won’t fight for this country anymore.

Would hate to say never but this is no longer the same country who's constitution I swore to defend.

I went to Iraq as a combat engineer. I fought for KBR and Halliburton.
There was no American freedom to be found over there.

I didn’t, but my granddad fought, and was wounded, in WW2. I’ve been thinking about him a lot lately, about what he fought for since the Democrats are pushing for one-party rule.
He passed in 2005 and had said in the late 90s that this country had seen its best days. I can’t imagine what he’d say now.

I did, and you frickers are part of the reason this country is not the greatest country on earth anymore.
The pledge reads, "Both foreign and domestic."
Stop being so passive about what's going on. I watched my friends get into airplanes and fly off, knowing they wouldn't have the fuel to return. We didn't squabble about who's going, we all went. We all accepted that we could die, and we all were willing to if it meant our children and there children would be better for it.
The problem today is, nobody wants to take the first swing. When I was growing up, if you didn't hit first, you likely got your arse whipped. Everyone is so worried about their effing appearance the refuse to move at all. They just stand there, and take a picture, then post it on their snap chat.
I'm sorry for the melt but, if I was physically able, you bet your arse I'd fight. You can't just hope change will happen. Sometimes you have put change in a headlock, and give it a good old fashioned noogie.

Raises hand. Seriously got my 100% VA disability and peaced out. I sit at home, work on my projects and ignore anyone outside of the internet and my family. People are weak and ready to give the federal government every right they have for "safety". frick this gay earth.

I volunteered during a time of war.
Wouldn’t do it again as things stand now.
I would encourage my sons to leave the country if need be.
Again, as things stand now.

If by “society” you mean the Liberal progressive extremists in the Democratic Party, the MSM, and social media...then
probably so.

Been waiting for mine. Going on 5 years in appeal process.

I didn't say it was a war.
Edit-
You're more interested in discrediting my rant than you are addressing the elephant in the room.
I used to take lunch money from people like you.

Well what non-combat reason was the military or some civilian endeavor asking pilots to fly somewhere with not enough fuel to return?

I served from 2005 to 2013. I didn't reup because of what we did to Libya without Congress. Never has set well with me. I launched those bombers for that lie. This is the same America as then with the blinders off
