Another hilarious technique of liberals is, even though polling was just shown to be the vote suppression tool it is, they are right back to using push polls to try to sow discontent inside of a month of the election.

The wall a Mexico paying for it is actually the least difficult promise he made. It's gonna happen folks.

I think the wall gets built...pretty easy project and Trump likes spending money so it seems to be a no brainer.

Will it make any difference in illegal immigration? Very little....it is much simpler and easier to simply walk across the border at a check point and disappear. It would take a serious survival expert to negotiate majority of the southern border...much of it will kill a person in a couple of days without proper provisioning...but the border crossings are easy...you can buy a bottle of water in the building if you are thirsty.

I hope the wall gets built...Keynes works and it will salve the aching vaginas of all of you scared to death of brown folks...it won't do much as far as immigration goes but it will provide jobs and pork laden contracts and it will make y'all feel better...thats a win win....

Hell the only one they didn't use against Trump was 'wrong side of history'.

Step 1 - wall
Step 2 - end sanctuary areas
Step 3 - visa reform

Liberals?

Hell, I saw Republicans and some staunch conservatives saying the same things as well. There's plenty of crow on the platter.

You could easily eliminate the first two with a sensible approach to the third...we used to do just that when we allowed migrant workers to enter the country and work and leave when the work was done. That makes much more sense BUT the wall is a better idea because of the Keynes aspect....pork is very tasty as long as it is mine! And it will make the frightened pussies among us convinced they are going to die at the hands of a brown person feel safer....and appeasement of the infirm is always a laudable idea....especially when it creates jobs and wealth!!!!

I disagree. What is the attraction of getting a work visa and having to pay taxes if you can just go hide out in one of the many cities saying they won't change?

LOL....I have always supported democrats because the choice has always been one between moderates who either pay lip service to labor (democrats) or capital (Republicans)...and the Republicans have always fulfilled their promises to capital to a certain extent....while deomcrats have always shifted their words of support for capital to the retired and the poor and the lazy no account lay about....but it has always been a question of labor versus capital to me because I work for a living and have never nor will I ever be a member of the capital class (there are plumbing contractors and HVAC contractors who think they are members of the class and you will find a lot of those kind of people here) and have therefor always been a member of the laboring class.

If Donald Trump and the new GOP is sincere in their support of working class Americans I am a convert! Social programs like food stamps and section 8 housing will become un-necessary if people can earn a living and the country will be better for it. I don't care if they outlaw abortion and gay marriage...those issues will take care of themselves...people will suffer but far fewer will suffer if the federal government is spending money like drunken sailors and there are federal protections in place to protect American jobs AND we are willing to tell the rest of the world to kiss our arse....if we are truly there then I am a convert...I will support President Trump come hell or high water....

I am dubious...I have seen the GOP do what they do for my entire 51 years....I sincerely expect folks like Newt Gingrich and Lindsey Graham and John McCain to exert their magic over Trump yet...and his cabinet nominations are doing nothing to assuage that doubt....BUT the cat is out of the sack and American working people have had enough...they are in revolt and it has been a long time coming....if Trump proves to be what I suspect he is...and I hope I am wrong....we will simply find someone who will do the things Trump promised working people.

Because those cities would be far and few between if the specter of deportation was eliminated by a legal path to employment....and most illegals would prefer to work legally than to hide from the authorities and be exposed to exploitation and deportation at the whim of a mayor and city council.

Those cities would also have to look for a reason to be sanctuary cities if there was nothing to seek sanctuary from.....

I don't trust the GOP establishment anymore than I do the democrats establishment. And welcome aboard the Trump train.

choo choo MF's choo choo.

What I would do to be in GTMO today and for the rest of my life; where my only concern was which exchange to buy my Captain Morgans and which beach I was going to snorkle off of. (Probably the one with the big fat rope) Also the conch shells I got (pain in da butt boiling the conch out and cleaning) and making $25 center pieces with flowers in them. I could charge a lot more money for them nowadays, huh?
