Of course, Newsom keeps saying crime is down lol. In fact, all the liberals claim it’s either down or barely up. Being a liberal is so fking easy, especially when the idiot flock of voters who defend you help with the lies.

The dirty secret is that in a lot of the bigger democratic blue controlled cities is at these drug stores have been getting robbed like this for years. Maybe not to this extent, but it certainly is a pattern which has been kept quiet. Until now.

I hope so, I see you have Hawaii as your location. I was on Oahu from 2017-2020. The fact that Ige still has support in that state is beyond me. On the plus side, I would see many Hawaiians especially older males at my gym wear MAGA hats in Aiea.

When crimes simply aren't being reported because the police are ineffectual due to the laws enacted by the legislature and Governor, yes it's going to look crime is down.
Try convincing store clerks and managers who are getting robbed every day though. Well, the ones who haven't been killed by shoplifters yet.

Crime is very likely statistically down. When you redefine crime so a large portion of crime is no longer a crime it does go down.
If we made killing someone legal, murder rates would be zero too. That doesn't mean it improved.

My favorite was a redefinition used in New Orleans years ago.
Shot and dead in the street = murder
Shot and lived till dying in the E.R. = hospital death.
Murder rate went down.
