Frankly, as a group the left has some balls that we don’t. At least at this point in time. On an individual basis I believe that changes. But they are very good at organizing, messaging and holding together in ways that we aren’t. So they are able to amplify themselves very well. Use BLM as an example. I do not for one second believe they represent a majority movement in the country. If they are than this conversation is pointless and I would suggest leaving ASAP. But they’ve claimed a position that this is civil rights based and if you aren’t actively supporting them you are a nazi. Support being financially based, at the street level and ballot box. With a complicit media amplifying their messaging all while they manipulate well intentioned but ill-informed people about how police are slaughtering said black people. There is no detail provided by them when an armed black man shoots at police. The narrative is “police kill yet another black guy” and BLM is on the right side of history. They can call for police to be killed and follow through on killings. But that is widely ignored by their allies in the media. Anyway, for now most of us have content with living our lives and voting when the time arises. We haven’t had any reason to “fight back”. Meanwhile our opponents have been putting in decades of time to prepare for moments like these and we’ve been having backyard bbqs and gone fishing. This is why I compare this offensive being mounted to Tet. They are attacking anywhere and everywhere all at once. It keeps us on the defensive and wondering what next. My apologies on the wall of text.
