You’re making a common mistake. You think they’re picking bad cases for their goals. They’re picking exactly the correct cases for their goal. Their goal isn’t to get reform. It’s to advance revolution.
If you want to advance revolution, pick obvious cases of wrongdoing where police action was warranted and advance a nonsense narrative that only convinces the believers. Presto. More division.

Sandra Bland killed herself.
Breonna Taylor was “dating” a murderer/drug dealer/gang banger who used her name to rent a car that ended up with a dead body in it.
Trayvon Martin tried to beat the shite out of a neighborhood watch guy.
George Floyd tried to pass a counterfeit bill while out of his mind on fentanyl.
I think you don’t know shite about any of those cases.

Much higher participation rates in church, 2 parent households were still the norm. And parents pushed their kids to do good and better, not idolize rappers and gang bangers.
