Such a dumb take. Cops arrest based on suspicion in every case. The perp gets convicted in court, the cops only bring them in on suspicion. Why is this any different than a cop arresting anyone anywhere? Are cops supposed to wait until someone is convicted in a court before arresting someone? That's putting the cart in front of the horse.

That's why I only watch ESPN for live sports and silence the commentators when they get annoying. If I have ever heard more than a sentence from Smith, I lost the remote.

I like Steven A a lot but he is missing a number of key points. 1) Joe Biden has invited 12 million illegals to enter our country and most of them thru Texas. This new Tx policy will undoubtedly reduce the number of illegals entering that state. Gov Abbott has begged Joe for help with this issue but has been ignored. 2) This is not raciest at all. They are illegal and the vast number of them happen to be Hispanic. Should the police be looking for Canadians? 3) Surely the police will be checking some type of ID when they question someone. The details are undoubtedly being worked out now. 4) Why focus on Gov Abbott. The focus should be on open border policies in general. Gov Abbott has a duty to control immigration into his state; the Feds won’t help.
