How important is censorship & the entire 1st Amendment to you on your list of issues?

It’s #1 for me.

I think it’s abundantly clear that governments have no problem restricting your constitutional rights under the guise of “your best interest”. Whether it’s assembling in groups(unless you’re BLM of course) or restricting you from going to church, and I’m not saying this as a religious person, I’m not, I’m agnostic, but I know people do find solace in their church and the people there.

And as far as all the little Karens or Judenrats that call and complain about too many people or this one doesn’t have a mask, this is the culture the government breeds, this is what they want.

Censorship is a tricky one. It’s obviously happening, but it’s happening on a “private” platform. But when those private platforms(GOOGLE, FACEBOOK & TWITTER)become the only way to communicate and they have an overt political bias and only censor one political viewpoint, do they not become something else entirely? Something much more dangerous. To be able to absolutely control the flow of information that easily really is something out of a novel.

The first is the second amendment, then the first amendment. My reasoning is this:
If you don’t have the second amendment, you cannot defend the first.

Extremely important. What is going on is very scary stuff and will become permanent if the dems win. They are going for a one party authoritarian state.

Altruistically the first is the most important for an educated and liberal society. The second is most important to actually assure that nobody tries to infringe upon that.

ETA: sort of like a chicken or the egg scenario to me.

This and ending the wars are interchangeable depending on the day. And the Democrats are public enemy #1 right now for both these issues.

I think we’d be winning by a MUCH wider margin if it wasn’t being abused and manipulated so heavily already.

Are they still hiding the NY Post article about the laptop?

The first is imperative, all of it. If they stifle your speech, all of the other amendments are going to be severely compromised.

Let's just broaden the issue to the general concept of wiping your feet (and other parts of your body) on the Constitution. That is my #1 issue with the People's Republic of the Democrat Central Party in America today.
