I had far more issues with 79Rs (mostly reservists/AGR) than I ever had with detailed recruiters.
We still had one the few remaining "Civilian" reserve recruiters in our shop, until he had a heart attack at the office and pasted away. I was still fairly new and learning the ropes but got a face full of how fricked up some people in recruiting were. The following morning after his death. First Sgt called and wanted to know who took that guys tester to MEPS, and was pissed when he found out not one of us did, CAUSE WE WERE AT THE HOSPITAL. he didn't give shite that the guy died.
I later heard (true or not unknown) that he retired out, moved to Florida, his wife left him, got half of his retirement and he went homeless.

It wasn't 1SG Bryan, was it?

no one made mission there. So your planning guide, LRLs, etc better be right because going around 60-65%
LRL-ouch I now have headache. I had no respect for the OOR's, they were car salesmen in a uniform. We missed mission one month and had to do the call everybody in your LRL again and we had to do it on Sunday. We were all pissed. The following Sat had to go to BN and do the zero roller board. They opened my LRL which had such nice tidbits as:
John Smith/Called Jan 91- Person was killed in car crash.
John Smith/Called Dec 92-subject was still dead. Not qualified.

I can't talk to anyone about the craziness I saw from 04 to 07. If I told someone that wasn't there, they would never believe it.
They couldn't imagine just how off the chain the whole thing was 4 hrs away from the flagpole.

My son’s a marine, I’m very proud, but yeah, I told him he needs to get out when possible
Does he have any inside knowledge of low moral? What does he have to say about the white male guilt push inside the military?

This isn't the Biden Admin doing this. They are just a conduit. It's the liberal/progressive culture and the ones with money and power that control it and it's narrative.

I was deployed with the 101st, got called to BN and told I was under investigation for recruiting improprieties. I asked if I could go back to face the charges.
It took them 5 minutes to quit laughing and tell me no. I have no idea whatever happened to the investigation.

My tanker buddies have can't believe that they turned a bunch of 25-35 year old combat arms dudes loose, gave them a GOV car, a cell phone and said "good luck".
These were days before social media and phones that record, etc.

I was single when I was in recruiting. As stated above. CC, G-car and told to go out in the community. (Before cell phones)
We had a saying for females: If you can't put them in the Army, put some Army in them.
Putting that attack plan into action was left up to each recruiter. It was mission impossible security, if you got caught we would disavow any knowledge of you.

It wouldn't have anything to do with certain quarterly training events held at luxury hotels outside your AO would it?

Patriots of all ethnic groups should desert the military. When Biden starts his wars, why should Patriots die for a Communist country. Once the Deep State transgenders and such are wasted in foreign countries, we will need patriots to defend the homeland.

I won't confirm not deny anything that I may or may not have heard, seen or done.
As a company commander, you may think you knew what was going on in your stations, but trust me...what you think you know only scratches the surface.
ETA--we were 2 hrs away from the Company HQ.

I was in a metro company whose stations were within 30 miles of my HQ, so I knew quite a bit. What I didn't know, my 1SG kept from me for my protection.

True. We were rural so at most you'd see the Sir once a month.

I spent more time at my stations than in my office. My First Sergeant convinced me to start leaving the office before 8pm after about 6 months so that my subordinates would follow suit.
To be clear, I wasn't micromanaging them. I would work out of a different station each day, observing and assisting as needed. Often they would request that "6 and 7" come out and do PT with them as well.

That's pretty good stuff. Oh I get it. I later became a 1SG myself.
Looking back, we were thrown out there then for sure. PT? shite. You never even took a PT test unless you had a school date.
Really the only thing I remember the acPT doing was signing those blue school folders and doing investigations. Heck, S-1 stopped flagging people unless the RI was already substantiated because the whole BN would have been flagged.

When Lloyd Bostick became USAREC CG he got authorization to pay for corporate gym memberships for those stationed more than 30 miles outside a military base.
My stations had Lifetime, XSport and Golds memberships.
You may have known my 1SG. He retired last November as the CSM of 6th Brigade.

His comment was...
"I’ve never met a fellow service member who joined on behalf of the country or government."
I rephrased it as "patriotic reasons".
Neither are synonymous to, as you said, "a sense of duty".
