To be fair, we have spying capabilities over there that the govt isn’t supposed to use on American citizens. And in the case of Minnesota it appears local and state govt officials were in on it, so it’s unlikely to hit on the Feds radar when it was being ignored or covered up by officials there.
I think Vance will do fine though it will all fall on the DOJ to prosecute. I wonder if that’s what led to Bondi being fired, maybe Vance got a look firsthand that Bondi and her DOJ weren’t doing their job after presenting evidence to them
