Any you morons keep leaving something out of this whole stupid argument.

For the US govt to "take over" or country, the individuals in the military has to be willing to do that.

If some crazy president or general actually wants to declare war on it's citizens, you think those millions of people in the military would follow him into that war?

Why don't you think about that.

You are literally talking to people who've experienced that very thing multiple times. I'm not saying that personal experience is the ultimate informant, but Jesus Christ mango...

Yeah, because I have the same connection to my brother or father as I do my 4th cousin I've met once. It's exactly the same.

Well, I was a career Army Special Forces soldier and one of my primary jobs was training stupid indigenous fighters how to navigate difficult terrain with no GPS. So yes, I can navigate them without a GPS, as can millions of other civilians who navigated those areas without anything more than a map. Are you trolling for serious?

You're talking about fricking road maps then. That Rand McNally will save you.

Yep, the average American is heavily trained in survival techniques, basic combat, firearms and marksmenship, recon, explosives, night infiltration, etc. Plus the average American is super healthy and strong and has a soldier's mentality.

I had no idea. I googled "How many Americans are soldier ready", and google said 98%. Amazing.

Let me get this straight. You’re saying the semi automatic guns were around for hundreds of years before the Bill or Rights were passed? Bill of Rights were ratified in 1791 and the first semi automatic rifle was unveiled in the 1885 by Ferdinand Ritter von Mannlicher. I’m Pro 2nd Ammendment but your waaaay off. And what’s sad are all these people eating this up.

What does this have to do with basic land nav using a map and compass?

You're unhinged man. Take a break.

Guess I just won the argument.

Well, it is relevant to this discussion.

Guess none of you other militia guys who think you can beat the US govt military forces are going to chime in...

First we need to make sure you're up to speed on semi-automatic weapons. You can't learn something until you admit you don't know it.

It is only relevant to the argument, if you are arguing that we don't need guns or the ability to defend ourselves because we wouldn't be able to win anyways. Is that your argument?
