DeSantis isn’t a “personality” like Trump is.
Some people need a person like Trump in their lives to lead them.
Anyone who opposes him gets labeled or ridiculed even if they’re a better option. It’s just a cult of personality thing.

Well I’m talking about the run up to 2028. I thought that was obvious. If you are not aware, we have an election in 2028.

Ron DeSantis, I don't believe, has ever really received a paycheck that was not some public, government entity. I sincerely think this matters. If he steps into the private sector for a bit, works in the real world and leaves the media eye for a moment, I think he can find a way to become relevant again. But it's gonna take some time. It's gonna have to be after JD. And that's gonna be till at least 2036. He'll be in his late 50's. And assuming he has some real world experience, he might do quite well. I'm not saying I'd never vote for the guy but he's gotta wait his turn. That doublecrossing POTUS run in 2024 is gonna have some consequences.
Take some time away from the cameras. Go be a lawyer somewhere for like 7 figures, or get on a few boards of major corporations, etc. If he can't help himself and runs in 2028 against JD, he will most definitely lose. And if he does that, I truly do think his career in politics will be over.

That's part of Trump's problem, the other part of it is he is too easily influenced by anyone who is even somewhat nice to him and he gets distracted easily.
He has done some good things, no doubt.
