We only go to the corporate stores when travelling. Locally, if we don't use the "local" coffee shop, we go to grocery store owned "Starbucks" which are better run and deliver a better product than our corporate Starbucks.

Bought my own E61 group espresso machine 12 years ago.
Have only had SBUX a few times in that period.
I could not care less about the frickery surrounding the neuroses of blue haired baristas or any other no skill union member.

zach is the only one I know that uses it routinely. I've had it once racing through an airport with no other choice. Don't care for the burned crap.

Not a fan of the leftist nerds who work at them but that's not true at all. Starbucks has a pretty good product for a huge chain. I am a coffee fiend and roast my own as a hobby. They know quality. I often give local shops a try wherever I go and 8/10 times they're not as good. I'm not talking about the froo froo drinks and sugary breakfast milkshakes that a lot of chicks line up for, I'm talking about their true coffee and coffee drinks, espresso etc.
