All the representatives and Senators are friends. The Republicans fall on their sword so their friends across the aisle can get reelected. A lot is Kabuki theater.
The Dems aren't nearly as cordial and march in lockstep when needed.

That politician care little to zero of what the public wants is a hard truth. It's an 80-20 issue. I hope they are paying attention but will be surprised if they do.
