Trump, Bernie, and Warren will continue this fiscal war with China up.
Biden would fold like a cheap tent.

Once China has been labeled a currency manipulator, it's much easier to just continue the policy.
We'll see what they have to say about it publically, but Bernie I bet support it.

Bernie got steam rolled in 2016 by his own party and told to frick himself and he just sat there and took it without so much as a peep. Jellyfish have a stronger spine than Bernie sanders.

This is where it would be helpful for all candidates to embrace the Trump doctrine on China (yeah- I just coined that phrase right here on TD), so China wouldn’t bother to wait out an election.
That is the one advantage they have over us in this situation. They can crash their economy waiting out an election here, and just use the military to silence dissent.

Navarro has never made a payroll in his life. He ran for office five times in San Diego as a democrat and lost them all. He like Sanders is an academic. He has never been involved in diplomacy. He is a ego centric college professor from a inconsequential school in Southern California. Trump invented his job in the administration and named him “director of trade and manufacturing policy.”
Today his job is to decide how much extra tax Americans should pay if they buy something from China and if American companies and farmers will be allowed to sell into the worlds largest consumer market—China. A powerful role for such an inexperienced liberal bureaucrat.
Sanders and the other democrats would probably keep him in their administration.
