Hell, the 90s version of the illuminati card game and the card art showed it all. I worked with a family friend of Steve Jackson, and she said his research consumed him...and how he arrived at the predicted events was presented to him.
He even put the flat-earthers in there because in the 80s, it was only a psi-op back then to add credibility to the space program. Now, high profile people are FEers. Note that in the 80s it wasn't even a thing outside of corner-case churches.
Since the original publishing, the card art had to be changed because the events unfolded.

That's what has made it hard to find the plan. Back then this stuff was out there for us to find if we knew where to look. I was a young guy with a lot of spare time. I wish I could go back in time and print up all the stuff I found. There seemed to be a few people who had knowledge of the events to unfold and they put it out there for people to see.

I do not have direct insight into the workings of the elite.
My interest in this topic evolved over the last 1.5 years (kicked off by the Podesta emails and the 2016 election). It became obvious to me that things may not be as they seem to appear. That led me into some interesting topics including:
Alternative history / lost civilizations / mystery schools (HLI thread)
Mystery Babylon (by Bill Cooper)
Most recently: “Know Your Enemy” series on YouTube
My opinion: This battle has been going on since the beginning of time. Light vs Dark, Good vs Evil. The “information” has been given to us in the wisdom of parables/teachings. This world is a test of sorts. We are surrounded by deception and evil. In spite of this, we are tasked with being kind, compassionate people who help others (instead of preying on the weakest amongst us)
In summary, it is more important to seek information that strengthens you/your sphere of influence instead of information to undermine the elites. Perhaps it is not our duty to actively root out evil as that task may be for another.
The kingdom of God is within.
That said, I read about many diverse topics (and pay attention to things that others may discount).
There is a community of extremely detail oriented folks at voat.co (see original link at the top of this thread) who are more autistic than me. They dig deep into many topics that other boards will not touch.
This guy below is also unique. His formal education is in philosophy and literature. His thesis looked at how those disciplines impacted geopolitics (with heavy focus on esoteric/occult knowledge)

I have some knowledge of the mystery schools. I've been apart of an organization that practices some of its arts. This was truly enlightening. I was bumped to its hugest order pretty early on and that was evident by me being 15 years younger than the next person being initiated. It was early on that I realized that these organizations and people exercise power in plan sight that seems purely random but is indeed planned out. Part of the disinformation is to label anyone who questions the narrative or reported facts as a conspiracy theorist which is to mean you are crazy. These people are great at covering their tracks. That's the most important thing.
I've been to a couple of mason meetings as a guest. I've been offered to join but I only would do it for it's secret knowledge which would inevitably take years to gain.

i can't help but think with all that has come to light in the last 9-12 months is a drip-drip-drip to something much, much bigger. I think back to what Julian Assange spoke of during his speech he broadcast end of last year, right before the election, when he referenced some sort of global takedown but he was rather vague. Could this be it? Anyone remember what he said?
I think people assumed he would have some sort of specific drop that would bury Clinton but that didn't happen. But this is beyond American politics. This really does extend beyond our little corner of the world.

Antinous was the underage boy-lover of Roman Emperor Hadrian, probably the famous statesman associated with a wall up until 2017. During his reign, they visited many parts of the empire together, and while in Egypt, Antinous drowned when he fell off a flotilla on the River Nile. Now what's interesting is that the cause of death has never been established, though some believed he was sacrificed, as was tradition to do to young boys as a fertility ritual at the time.
After his death, the philosopher Carpocrates and even Hadrian himself pushed Antinous as a mysterious cult figure. According to this history, "Carpocrates is the Patriarch of Libertinism, a Patron Saint of Homosexuality and a Divinized Mortal in the Religion of Antinous." The cult, worshipping the ill-fated boy, had has two basic inspirations. The greek Dionysian cult and Jesus himself, who they saw as a mortal being who transcended mortality through his own will and vigor. One could not simply worship Jesus, but one had to "become" a God like him.

The followers of Carpocrates...believed that in order to leave this world, one's imprisoned eternal soul must pass through every possible condition of earthly life. Moreover, it is possible to do this within one lifetime. As a result, the Carpocratians did "all those things which we dare not either speak or hear of" so that when they died, they would not be compelled to incarnate again but would return to God.
This is elucidated through the theme of "cosmic consciousness" that many gnostic cults have explored, as in, they travel the various stages of existence as if they were a vessel traveling from planet to planet in a solar system. This, I believe, is the reason James Alefantis salvaged that old sign and called the bar "Comet" Ping Pong.
The history of the Carpocratians also outlines the homosexual element of the cult in greater detail.
Epiphanius describes that they celebrated lovefeasts where wives were exchanged, and that they held up their hands, smeared with semen and menstrual blood to the 365 Archons as a sign of sacrifice. The High Priests, called Levites, openly devoted themselves to homosexuality, abstaining from female contact, and having frequent sex among themselves, so as to not perpetuate human enslavement in the world.
That's not to say the Carpocratians didn't engage in black magic. In what is one of the strangest repetitions in history, the cult was accused of being both a supporter of Communism, Incest and Cannibalism, according to one religious history of the time (Page 275). So a cult that made its way to the top of the Roman Empire run by secret, gay high priests who engage in blood orgies and cannibalism appears to have made its way back to the highest seat of global power. To become effective, members had to overcome weaknesses that Mr. Raniere taught were common to women — an overemotional nature, a failure to keep promises and an embrace of the role of victim, according to Ms. Edmondson and other members.
Submission and obedience would be used as tools to achieve those goals, several women said. The sisterhood would comprise circles, each led by a “master” who would recruit six “slaves,” according to two women. In time, they would recruit slaves of their own.
