As a white dude? The top UC schools? He had absolutely no chance with only a 4.2 and his test scores. There is no way UCLA, and Cal are reaching out to a white dude with a 4.2.

This dude's SAT score is way too low. I'm in California. My daughter was accepted by both UCSD and UCLA last year. Her old SAT was 2120, which is about 1470 to today's new SAT. There were 55 kids at her HS were accepted to UCLA, average SAT 2130; 97 kids admitted to UCSD, average SAT 2060 (about 1430 of today's SAT). D18 enrolled private college eventually because free of tuition.

Very average colleges. I had the same gpa because I took 10 AP classes in high school. Beat him by a little over 100 on my SAT out of 1600 and did not have any great schools calling for me.

You're confusing Cal Poly and CalTech.
Poly got 48k+ freshman applications last year and admitted nearly 17k.
CalTech is one of the most selective in the nation and admitted 8% of 7,300 applicants.

I certainly wouldn't chase around trying to find out what his views were. I lived 80 years without even hearing of him. If the MSM would stop pushing his fracking face on every TV 24/7 I would gladly go on without ever thinking of him again.
