We just came off of four years of a baked potato spreading egregious lies from the oval office about President Trump, leveraging the entire weight of the justice system upon him, and calling his supporters "white supremacists" and "domestic terrorists". All while a shadow government made all of his decisions for him, including granting pardons for actual treason.
Yes, the landscape has changed, friend. Trump's trolling is just meant to be funny and effective though as opposed to inciting violence. The message is obvious, and certainly achieves the "funny and effective" purpose.

It's really not. It really grinds people's gears to see someone having a good time, but sure, let's go back to the days when everyone was "presidential." We never started useless wars, racked up trillions in debt, stole from the taxpayer, or pushed trannyism on children when our presidents didn't post memes.
The dumbest part of this, other than the complete lack of understanding of the power of memes in the culture war, is that people somehow think "acting presidential" matters. In reality, it's just people with a stick up their arse looking for something to bitch about. It's as stupid as complaining about a preacher making a joke during a sermon and accusing him of not being "respectful" enough of the seriousness of eternal damnation.
Learn to appreciate a joke, and you'll be much happier.
