I've been here long enough to remember most of the conservatives on here berating and chiding the blind, cultish allegiance that Obama supporters had for him during his administration. Why was it bad for them but good for you? Blind allegiance to any human, especially one in a position of power, is never a good idea. Everyone should be tested and held to standard.

Either you believe our fiscal situation is a grave threat to our national security, economy, and way of life or you don't. You are the one screaming about "too late Jerome" but you're too fricking dumb to realize that it is spending bills, like this one, that makes it impossible to cut rates.
I am sorry that you cannot see the correlation between unaffordable housing, high grocery prices, and increasing costs all around us and government spending. Yet here we are, criticizing the few politicians that are pointing out the utter insanity of it all.

This is true. And for everyone who doesn’t like the situation we are in, know that it’s because of you (and me and Massie).
We allowed this to get to this point. Deciding today to take a firm stand based on principle is like pretending you can solve the problem of a cheating wife by being nicer. It’s already done.
If we have to eat a couple of shite sandwiches in order to put ourselves in a position to ultimately get what we want, we have to be willing to pay that penance.
I like Massie. He needs to get his arse in line and be willing to do the hard work of convincing his own delegation to see things the way he does.
