Those cheerleaders learned a valuable lesson about progressives today.

Students are organizing free speech events for the coming weeks, I think they just poured gasoline on the fire.

This board wasn’t outrage about students singing? That they can still remember it.

You are a moron. This board would be apoplectic over it.

Link up ANYONE saying or even suggesting THOSE KIDS should have received some sort of punitive school consequences for that shite. Good luck.

So the kids cannot pose in front of a campaign slogan banner.

Disingenuous. Lol

But they could perform at a campaign event on school property as representatives of the school.

Those were school uniforms?

I didn't say it was a complex question. I said it was stupid and irrelevant. And it was.

The school's complaint was that the students were in school uniforms and therefore presenting the school. Were the cheerleaders in uniform in attendance at a political rally?

Why could kids perform at an overtly political rally but not pose in front of a political sign?

It’s dumber than that. It’s the state athletic association.

Are there really people who are going to pretend that THIS school board would have even THOUGHT about touching this subject if the ONLY thing that changed was the sign from Trump to basically any prominent Democrat?

Are we really going to sit here and pretend that anyone actually thinks that's the case?

i wonder if a) they asked and received permission or b) perhaps that school has a different policy

nah. it has to be that all cheerleader situations are exactly the same, and almost all of them are being controlled behind the scenes by evil democrats

Kind of missing a key piece.

Can’t decide if you are intentionally misrepresenting, therefore clever but morally dubious, or just a stupid.

It’s actually the state athletic association. So there’s literally dozens of examples where they did nothing when school dance teams or cheer teams were overtly involved in politics as “representatives” of the school.

The big difference is Trump.

One more time. It was the state athletic association.
