Sounds like he’s going to enter Senate race against Gardner. Afraid that seat is gone.

He got booed off the stage at some dem event a few weeks ago
Did he really think he could win?

As much as I loathe Gardner, I'd have to vote for him against Lickenpooper.
But yeah, it'd be a landslide for Hick in the new socialist Calirado

yeah but also one seat in the Senate that flips too so don't celebrate too soon over someone who hadn't a chance in hell to even get the Dem nomination much less win

Yeah, you rite. Hopefully he runs against Gardner for the US Senate seat. Colorado is a blue state.

You’re in a union, right?
Isn’t Louisiana generally a nonunion state, at least historically?
How did you go about getting into one? Don’t the vast majority of factories and workshops in the south reject unions when it is put to vote?

Every state has a boilermaker union hall. Some halls cover up to five states. Things were rocking down here until right to work came into being. We have so many refineries and chemical plants down here it would make your head spin. At one time, as little as 12 years ago, we had three locals. One in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lake Charles. The building trades is a great way to make good money. The two nuclear plants in Louisiana use union labor. The great majority of the work here is nonunion. I have worked in about 30 states. Gotta go where the money is. That proposition 56, I believe it is, pretty much has mandated that all the refinery work in California must be done by graduate apprentices. Washington state has passed a similar bill. Unions are not dead yet.

govt workers now make up majority of union members. This wasn't the case for most of US history.

I have stated several time before that I work through a craft union. Southern Company, TVA, Entergy, and NRG are all utilities that have plants in the south. They use union labor on many of their projects. All the states in the Deep South are right to work. They don’t have to use union labor. They do it for a reason. There is no extortion or sabotage down here. They use union labor because of the training programs we have.

I think Colorado wants to get rid of him too.

CO senate seat was probably lost regardless of who ran for the Dems. They would vote lockstep even if their version of Roy Moore was running. I feel bad for the patriotic folks in CO that are outnumbered by liberals. The ranchers out in eastern CO are some of the greatest, toughest Americans you’ll ever meet.
