The pacific has been very active this year with hurricanes. Pretty typical for El Nino's

So I guess we just aren't looking at the Pacific side and all the predictions of the Super El Nino coming true?

Well, yesterday the data came out about the super El Niño being 3.05C,,,,anything above 2C is a “strong” El Niño, and forecasters are estimating that it could top out north of 4C,,,,also yesterday we had a 50mph tropical storm that gained 110mph in a 24 hr period, that’s the second fastest ever,,,,lord save our asses when the ENSO swaps to La Niña for the Atlantic basin

How did they know this would suppress Atlantic hurricanes? Oh because it's happened numerous times in the past.
