Herschel Walker opens up about speech issues.

I have seen way too much ignorance about this guy. In this interview, posted by The Stuttering Foundation, Walker opens up about his speech issues and more.
He has always had this issue and he fought through it and people (like those here making fun of him for it).

He's a good man.
Hope the folks in Georgia understand that a good-hearted simpleton (that's how he's seen by the Media) is better than a corrupt "Intellectual" any day of the week.

Can you imagine if he had a (D) by his name? A poor, rural AA Who overcame a speech problem? They'd be running him as their presidential candidate in 2024

As someone who has had a somewhat severe stutter all my life I can totally relate to Herschel and Bo Jackson, not in an athletic way of course. It makes school incredibly difficult and it breeds all kinds of insecurities. I applaud Herschel for attacking his issue and not hiding from it. I hid from mine and let it define me. He does not. Kudos to him.

That's kind of an odd coincidence. Two of the greatest running backs of all time and next to each other in the SEC within a few years of each other both had stuttering issues. I had not recalled Walker's but Bo's was always prominent.

He would literally be bulletproof with the voters and media. Anything he said would be Gospel. Any facts thrown back at him would be "racist and attacking someone with a disability".

Ignorance can be fixed. Stupid can not.
I would take Walker any day over people like HHTM and more. He may have a speech problem, but they have REAL issues.

Bo Jackson also has/had some form of speech impediment as well.
