Here come the damn gun grabbers again politicizing a tragedy. The answers will be found in looking into what is causing these kids to do this. NOT by penalizing law abiding citizens who had nothing to do with it.
A gun does not jump up and kill people by itself.

Did I say you were everybody? I said more people in Texas as you will see when he gets easily reelected in November.

And Ted wasn't trying to offer an answer for anything right then.

He was trying to stay out of politics for at least the first hour after a tragedy occurred.

More or less effective than prayer?
Prayer isn't be offered as a solution by the left.
Universal background checks are.
Like somehow that will magically prevent school shootings. Which we know isn't true.
Nearly all these kids had clean background with exception to Parkland.
Moreso, their parents did which is how Adam Lanza got a hold of his guns.
I have no problem with background checks. I passed several to get my CCW. But to act like that's going to prevent this from happening is asinine.
We've seen two instances this week on how these get prevented. It's a trained officer on grounds.
Other that that, you get today...

At least it wasnt worse. Little consolation to the families that lost someone today.

Do you want to extreme vet middle easterners coming into the US or just look into what is causing them to be terrorists?

My concerns are more for the victims. I’d rather politics be left out of it and focus be on the victims and their families (which is what is being done here locally).
My question about politics was meant to be more satirical than anything else. So sure, as it’s open to interpretation, I’ll own it.

WTF are you talking about? I said we must find out what is driving these kids to do these horrific acts. NOT penalize the law abiding gun owners for something they had nothing to do with.

That's just stupid. But you know it. We know why they are terrorists. They took everyones guns in the UK and now they want the knives. The gun grab doesn't work.
We have a people problem here. Guns don't jump up and go kill anyone on their own. We need to get serious on what is driving these children to kill their classmates. It is happening again and again and with increasing frequency.

Un-fricking-real this is the attitude some of you have about a school shooting. Nah, we don’t have a gun problem, and society isn’t desensitized to this kind of violence at all.

You ever apples to apples? Because a constitutional right is NOT the same thing as immigration issues, immigration which was completly banned for 60 years earlier last century.

How did you get from my comment to gun grab
I am simply trying to make the argument that actually doing something seems to be more effective than doing nothing or doing bs studies (y’all like science around here now?)

I wasn't responding directly to you, it was a general response. I agree with you 100%

Wonder if those shooters were law abiding gun owners before this morning.

Again . . . explain the gun problem.

His answer is thoughts and prayers.
I don't agree with that.
Why do heathens want to destroy a praying strawman like this when Christians (historically, at least) don't believe that God is manipulated by prayer?

Why? It’s a completely logical, fair question.

No, it’s not.
We don’t have a legal system in America that punishes people beforehand because they “might” turn into murderers
