Meditation for the Day.
Our Lord has risen, Hallelujah , Hallelujah, our spiritual lives are in need of constant conversion, we can't be satisfied and just stand still, our spiritual lives are either growing or dying, but for it to grow, we have to feed it with things of God.
Prayer for the Day.
I pray that I may get to know the risen Jesus more and more each day, and that he may become a bigger part in my life, and that I may conform my life to his will.

But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.”

After Jesus was crucified, his followers had to be filled with questions of doubt and confusion. Even non-believers who found themselves intrigued by this teacher and supposed miracle worker must have shrugged off any belief they might have had that he was truly the son of God. His persecutors must have been filled with satisfaction and a sense of justice and victory.
At that point, the teachings of Christ might have gotten told by a few people for a few more years before they faded into history, were forgotten, or only remembered as some flash-in-the-pan sensation.
The morning that the stone was found rolled away from the tomb changed everything. Hope was restored. His followers were redeemed. The story would not fade away. The resurrection verified the message. The messiah had come, and he still lives.
He lives!
