If we can manage to pull this off, there will be a couple dozen other states that will come with us.

They will send in the FBI, DOJ and if they have to the military. They will do what Trump wouldn't, crush their enemies.

The war is over and it only took one bullet.

This is interesting, because the Constitution lays out what the federal government can and cannot do.

The rest of the powers are reserved for the states.

The speed with which this would be struck down is unreal.

It will just be ignored, more or less.

The problem is getting other states to join but I don't see that happening. Biden has control of the military and if they tried, will be crushed easily. Our hope was gone when Trump left. Now this country is being destroyed before our very own eyes.

Texas is not sovereign, what powers have not been given to the federal government reside with the State.

This act wouldn't mean anything that I can see.

Texas and Louisiana will be the first two Red States to fall, they are easy to deal with.

Again, this bill isn’t a secession bill.
It’s simply intended to underscore the rights that Texas (and all states) already has.
Unfortunately the federal government has forgotten: The states comprise a league of friendship that shall remain independent and sovereign from a weak central government.

It's not a secession bill. It's just saying Texas intends to follow the US Constitution.

The red states/areas have yet to figure out that there was a war, the war is over... let alone understand the new weapons of war.

- plausible deniability
- prosecution discretion
- the enemy of my enemy is my friend

All the red/swing area/states will fall very quickly unless they start to use the new weapons of war. I don't expect that to happen, so America is over.

Texas should start practicing their kneeling.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!

Leftists remember the supremacy clause exists all the sudden! Boy! All the enlightenment of a single day! It’s like the day before finals all over again.

“Sanctuary cities” say hello to the supremacy clause.

Unconstitutional is unconstitutional... period. The Supremacy clause is irrelevant if the action is unconstitutional.

The state of Texas and its legislature is not the authority on whether federal actions are constitutional.
