People should test how strongly they feel about this. Walk in with a button down shirt on. Order food. Eat. When the check comes, take off button down shirt to reveal pro-Trump t-shirt. Ask owner if he wants money from a Trump supporter or not and see what the owner says.

I support their ability to refuse to serve anyone.

Private business and all.

This doesn't apply here. What is it with progs and their false equivalence? I have no problem with the restaurant doing this. In fact, I encourage others with their political views to follow suit so I'll know where not to spend my money.

Pagoda Cafe is committed to being a welcoming and open space. We are sending love out to so many of us who are hurting today: POC folk, LGBTQ folk, immigrant folk, non-Christian folk, struggling folk, feminist folk, social justice working folk, and all the children with so many questions . We see you and love you. All human beings are loved and welcome here. That said, what isn't welcomed here: white supremacy, misogyny, homophobia, greed.

Post on pagoda's Facebook page. Pretty impressive.

That's fine.

Just don't tell us who we're required to bake for.

Progressives are such hypocrites.

Gotta love the hypocrisy of the left. They preach to us acceptance of different beliefs and customs; and how we must accept them for what they are.

But when the shoe is on the other foot.....NULL AND VOID.

A truer statement has never been made on the internet.

I love it.

That's pretty much the sign on the door but in shorter form. It is quite staggering.

I stopped going there. It is just stupid.

I am a business owner and I would never ruin an opportunity to make a sale because my customer has different views than I have. That always makes me shake my head when I see companies doing this. I am in business to make money, not to push a particular political viewpoint. If that was what I wanted to do I would start a non-profit or become an activist.

I think a business should be able to serve only people they want, but I think they (as a business) are a fool to do so. I guess I would appreciate knowing if a company does not support my views so I dont spend money with them.

But I have a family to support, employees to keep employed and taxes to pay, so I will take money from anyone who wants my products.

I agree with you. I am a small business owner as well. As much as I suppprt the idea that businesses should be free to choose who to serve I will never turn down an opportunity to make a dollar.

Once again, the irony is pretty thick.

All humans are loved and welcome except for the ones who aren't.
