Correct. It is a big red flag for what is now called conduct disorder (that is the term for anti-social disorder or psychopath for ppl younger than 18 FYI). His mother helped him bury it. She probably responded very defensively with something like this when she picked him up AFTER he was sent to the ER for a psych eval. "How dare them?!? My sweet boy is just a misunderstood child. He does not have anything wrong with him and no he does not need to see a psychiatrist. A shrink will just put him on meds and say that everything is my fault!"

Well of course. He is a state employee in a state where you have to be a unionized worker to be a state employee. I would be surprised if his parents were anything other than democrats.

Every psychiatrist will tell you that most kids who harm animals, for the fun of it, turn out to be psychopaths.
ETA: By all indications he was raised in a liberal home. Like always, the truth is the opposite of what the media and this administration claim.
