Seems to be the case with how Facebook and all Social Media is rallying behind censorship and the massive amount of people in the world embracing it. You have China embracing it. Arabic States embracing it, EU embracing it, India embracing it. That's almost 70% of the world already. America is already in the mist of embracing it while Canada have fallen to it already.

It use to be said that let the free market decide, but what if the free market decide that socialism is the answer? Does that mean capitalism and by extend our republic was wrong as it could not stand the test of time?

They’ve been subsidizing poor dumb people to procreate for generations, now they’re importing millions, we are just outnumbered.

People starving, oil rich and mile long lines for gasoline, electricity only some of the time, water a couple of days a week, grave yards robbed, the animals in the zoo eaten and a couple of million people fleeing to Columbia and any place else.

Hey, that's why socialists have to build walls to keep people in.

Not exactly fitting, but I think this quote is still applicable here

China and the Arabic states are not socialists. They are totalitarian and either real or de facto monarchies.

You have a bigger problem with subject-verb agreement.

If it was really better, they wouldn’t have to silence the opposition.

Socialism requires a level of tyranny that sometimes takes a while to fully play out.

Our world has benefitted from various forms of capitalism, mostly various versions of regulated capitalism, and has achieved a level of prosperity that is now being taken for granted.

As people become more focused on attempts to solve the problem of inequality, which is an existential human problem, they are willing to swallow the lies of socialism (ushered in with cultural Marxism), and blame capitalism (which does have excesses).

The problem is that early socialist programs can seem successful because they get to ride on the back of ingrained free market economies. As those economic freedoms are eroded in favor of command economies, the effects will be apparent.

More and more freedoms will be taken away in the name of the greater good. Tyrannical leaders will stoke the public to vilify supposed oppressor groups in favor of supposed victim groups.

The cycle will intensify. Economies will stagnate and then retreat. Socialists leaders will intensify their attempts to hide the truth. Eventually, the worsening conditions won’t be able to be hidden, and then the socialists will intensify the blaming.

And then the true violence starts. Justice was already perverted, but then it will become totally warped.

The only hope is that the truth can prevail in whatever manner it can be maintained and spread.

Lies. Half truths. Mendacity. These are the tools of the socialists, and it’s their tell-tale sign.

It’s no accident that the socialists claim post-modernism as their philosophy. They always utilize postmodernism as method to undermine truth. They will claim that there is no objective truth to destroy reason, but then turn around and claim the “truth of equity” based on emotion as undeniable.

The curse of post-modernism and cultural Marxism will plague the human race for the foreseeable future. There just is no effective method for western style modernists to deal with it without betraying their own principles.

There are different types of totalitarian states.

Socialist countries are always tending towards tyranny and totalitarian control. China has only seemingly increased freedoms because they are riding on the coat tails of western capitalist democracies. That is the engine that keeps them on the track.

For socialism to work, you need a few things:

1. A bunch of either lazy or jealous people that cannot stand to see others succeed and blames them for their lot in life.

2. This same group of people willing to live their lives out under the status quo with no ambition, no creativity, no innovation and no spirit. Existing is satisfactory as long as their can have a few of their favorite vices.

3. This same group of people willing to abdicate virtually major decisions to a central few to tell them how to live their lives so they aren't burden with such details.

4. An elite class of people that does a great job of selling how they can make your lives better until they take over and become a ruling class. When that occurs, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Socialism sounds great in theory. But to tell a person that he limited in how much he can achieve will always fail at some point.

Um... No? Never has been, is or will ever be. In ANY situation, no matter who tries it.
