They never do; expect to be subsidized by the taxpayers.
Taxpayers moving out of NYC in record numbers accelerated by a delusional communist mayor.

Yeah its pretty racist to call out those states..

The states with the highest percentage of Black residents are concentrated in the South, led by Mississippi (~38%), Louisiana (~33%), Georgia (~33%), and Maryland (~32%). When including the District of Columbia, which has over 40% Black population, these areas consistently rank highest in the United States.

Top 10 States by Percentage of Black Population:
District of Columbia: ~40-44%
Mississippi: ~36-38%
Louisiana: ~32-33%
Georgia: ~30-34%
Maryland: ~29-33%
South Carolina: ~27-28%
Alabama: ~26%
North Carolina: ~21-22%
Virginia: ~19-20%
Tennessee: ~17%

Key Population Insights:
Highest Numbers: While southern states have the highest percentage, Texas and Florida actually have the highest total number of Black residents, at over 3.9 million and 3.8 million, respectively.

Regional Concentration: Roughly 55% of the U.S. Black population lives in the South and southeast regions.

City Data: Jackson, Mississippi, has one of the highest concentrations of Black residents for a city, at over 80%.

All off the back of Medicaid grants which account for nearly 70% of all federal money flowing into all states.

Remind me which party has tried to curb Medicaid spending and which party fights it at every turn?
