That's the county where University of Iowa is located and they organized first time voters to register as republicans just to vote against Trump.

The counties she was close in were about 50% democrats that turned out to vote for her. It was counties with major cities.

Johnson County Iowa has over 150K people and only around 2800 or so caucused?

The NYT site is showing only around 110K votes total out of over 700K that are registered republican and over 2 million total.
