Exactly. The 2nd amendment only applies to the government. Guy can have the gun sent to another FFL. Shop owner didn't want the risk or burden to his conscience.

Lefties cry about guns

Licensee refuses to transfer over red flags.

Lefties cry about the refusal.

You people? I’ve voted republican my entire life. Go back and look at my posts. All I’m saying is if you condone this, don’t complain when it happens to someone wearing a MAGA hat. I know the gun can be transferred to another store. That’s a pain in the arse and inconvenient. Remeber “shall not be infringed on”. Why is that difficult to grasp?

The local gun shop here was shut down over a sale that was done with obvious red flags, and the firearm ended in homicide hours later.

Lawyers had a field day and took they guy for all he had.

Why is the concept that “shall not be infringed” applies to the government only so difficult to grasp?

And how many of those have been posted here and praised with a “good for the store owner”? None

Would you sell to a guy who walked in and handed you an ISIS business card?

The licensee is not the government. Hes a business with a duty to protect his financial status.

Selling ice cream is a bit different than selling firearms.

Youre thinking its 100% ideological, but the dude has to protect his business.

I would most likely sell to anyone passing the background check myself, but I don't own HIS business so I don't know his particulars.

I thought Antifa was just an idea…now you are finally admitting that Antifa = Democrats. Thanks for your honesty

Maybe, maybe not. Just know that what happened here with antifa guy, happens daily throughout the U.S. for like decades and decades, right or wrong. Gun purchases are denied by a gun shop and at gun shows throughout the U.S., but everyone is going to take a stance with this one.

I personally am looking at both sides. This guy can still purchase a weapon, but at a different location. A guy who has the right to choose who he does business with exercised his rights too. Why is that wrong?

Since they didn't arrest ANTIFA rioters, I'm sure he had a clean record. Not sure why the idiot flashed his ANTIFA business card (or why he would have one) but seems to me like the FFL should be able to refuse service to anyone he wants.

Yep, the gun shop probably has done this before and so this guy chose to be a story.

Which would be the correct and rational choice 99.9% of the time. And, as long as you followed the law, you should be good.

Unfortunately, what this guy realizes along with many others is that we've reached a point in the United States where many local DAs don't give a fricking about the law anymore and would happily ruin this dude if they could find ANY reason he "should have known" no matter how miniscule.

In many cities, we just no longer live in a place where following the law will protect us.
