Let the Rexcatur class weep.

Replying to @chrisgeidner
Update: The CNN lawsuit against Trump has been assigned to Judge Timothy J. Kelly, a Trump appointee who was a former counsel to Chuck Grassley.

Cnn is an opposing litigant in a case against the President. Yet they want to sell themselves as the independent and objective 4th estate. Is that right?

The President banned a journalist from the press pool under the guise of a very serious accusation that was patently false, and actually due to the fact that he doesn't like said journalist or the questions he asks.. Yet he wants to sell himself as a champion of the First Amendment and transparency with the press. Is that right?

Nope never happened, he can still gain access to the press room as can CNN.

I don’t know where to start. I guess I will ask you what is the precise accusation you claim is false. Second...what is the violation of the 1st Amendment. Third, you are aware Acosta is not banned, right? Finally, how does your deflection address my post in any way whatsoever?

Your assertion is false, Acosta is not a journalist.

The President is also one of the only few Presidents who stands at the podium for almost 90 minutes to answer questions (68 questions I believe) which, might I add, are not pre-screened like Obama did.

Acosta stood there and blatantly told him that he "was going to challenge him." It wasn't a question. He brought about a debate, and when the President asks you to sit down and let someone else ask a question; you don't challenge him. It's one thing to disagree with the man in power. It's another to disrespect the office.

That's simply false.

If you have to build a strawman in order to support your position, there is a good chance that your position is very weak.

Being part of the press pool of the WH is NOT a right. Damn where do you all feel you have the "right" to stuff. It's a privilege to be part of the WH press pool.

Not true. The video shows his aggression

That's your opinion of the motive, but you can't say that it actually was the motive.

The first is speech, what are you talking about?

You make many assumptions. You know what they say when we assume. Well on your part at least it is true

I thought this was going to be a Bush or Obama appointee and was looking forward to seeing how much they had to abuse the law just to say CNN has legal grounds for such a case.

President Obama kicked 3 conservatives out and used the FBI and DOJ to go after James Rosen of Fox News.
