It’s one and the same. It’s the gay circle of life. I guarantee you that while there are some people who are probably “born gay” the VAST majority of gay people were sexually abused in some capacity in their lifetime. That is WHY they prey on young kids, because it happened to them.

I am pretty friendly with a decent amount of gay dudes. When I press them to talk about their first experience, nearly all (read: sans three) have told me that their first sexual experience was from 12-15 and with a grown man anywhere from 17 to 54.
It isn’t very publicized for obvious reasons. Whether or not a lot of gay men are truly gay, and not just becoming so because of predatory trauma, their early experiences trend heavily on the statutory side.

Your anecdote would also apply to Heterosexual Female's first sexual experience. It isn't localized to only the gay community.
