It’s easy to think Trump was incompetent or moronic for pushing this and feeding this J6 fever that brought the most gullible of society to DC for slaughter. Sure they were his pawns, and even if you believe the deep state contributed, it couldn’t have happened without Trump’s help.
The real failure of J6 for Trump was that it wasn’t bad enough. There wasn’t enough bloodshed and confusion to derail certification. This is a no win for us. IMO we move far away from J6 and Trump and find a candidate that can win.

If J6 was an insurrection then I am the Man in the Moon. This entire moment was orchestrated and instigated by members of Congress. They will receive their judgment one day. In the interim, all serving time should be released and records expunged and any awaiting trial, same
