Was in DC last week and the locals were falling out over the temps being 84-86. Felt nice coming from Louisiana. Bunch of pampered out of shape people.

Totally get it.
We moved out here 13 years ago for my wife's rheumatoid arthritis. She can't take the humidity and violent weather changes we'd get in Atlanta. We have a house here but I stay in Huntsville for work. I come back here every few weeks.
The dry out here kills my sinuses and high altitude weather changes mess with my back. Today my eyes are fricked. Have to wear glasses. In the winter, the cold is fine, it's the dryness that wears me out. Glad I'm in the South mostly these days
