If you watch "The First 48" enough, you see plenty of people commit murder and end up with life in prison or the death penalty over something as simple as $60, or a quarter ounce of weed, or just because they felt "disrespected".
Normal people with normal consciences and morals, would demand a shite ton of money in exchange for something really heinous to occur. A new generation of narcissistic, amoral sociopaths aren't bound by the same moral compass that the rest of us inherently possess.
