We should have seen the writing on the wall when NY let them put a mosque at the site of the Fallen Towers.

There is. There was an absolute uproar about it when they built it.
Literally built quite soon after all the rubble was cleared and the area was designated safe again.
Edit: Looks like the uproar worked and the construction got sidelined. I always appreciate correction, thanks Mo.

Nope. Not true. There isn’t one there. There were plans for an Islamic community center about two blocks away, but it was not built. There is an active mosque a few blocks away, but it was built in 1970.
