If you gave Roy Moore truth serum, he'd tell you that his dream scenario is to get elected and then not seated in the Senate. That would be so on-brand for him. He could then play the role as the martyr and nail himself to the cross like he always does.

Unfortunately, Moore will win and will serve 2 terms in the Senate.

I’m not rejoicing anything. I’m pointing out these guys will make nice with anyone. They won’t do shite to Moore.

He's not going to be that newsworthy

Normal people think, "well of course Alabama elected him."

He's going to be seated. The GOP doesn't have the stomach or even the grounds to not seat him. They will cite Moore's win tomorrow as the litigation on the matter.

The Franken thing is a trap. The dems clearly dgaf anymore. They will throw Frankens fake resignation out there to save face, then backtrack once Moore is elected, citing the idea that if Moore stays, Franken should stay.

Don't

Well, testimony is evidence so technically we have evidence. To your point though, Moore won't be kicked out of the Senate over any of this.

Well, I'm not going to get into the accusations because I've stayed out of that for the most part. Moore himself has lied in his denials and he's a pretty detestable person even if you take the allegations out of the equation.

Still not sure what we're arguing about. I'm saying it has nearly been two centuries the last time a Senator wasn't seated. The GOP doesn't have anything to go on to make a move like that.

Is he any different than someone like Sheila Jackson Lee or any of the other barely literate Democrats?

If nothing else, Moore can spend his days in the Senate making visual aids to help Sheila Jackson Lee understand the discussion from the Repub side of things.

Btw, I'm pregnant. And I need 800 dollars cash for the abor- er, womans clinic. I mean 1000 dollars. Yeah, 1000.
